Claudio Silva, a Chilean businessman and naturalized American, has 27 years experience in the Air Cargo Industry occupying several positions at Fast Air and later Lan Cargo, where he served as Cargo Commercial Vice President for North America and Asia, since 1994. Claudio was instrumental in the exponential growth of the company in the region with sales that reached over $600 million annually. Claudio has worked in different cities and countries during his time with Lan which contributed to its multicultural character. Also during these years, he had the opportunity to build business relationships at various levels in the forwarders and airline companies in the region. With both commercial and operational air cargo experience, Claudio Silva is an executive entrepreneur with vast experience opening new markets and developing new products. Along with his past experience in Revenue Management, he is always looking for quality and efficiency in the commercialization process.

GSA SERVICES

Reducing costs is the most common reason why airlines consider using a GSA. GSAs enjoy economies of scale that are passed back to carriers in the form of reduced costs. Many carriers also prefer to exchange the fixed overhead of operating their own facilities, for the flexible cost-per-kilo of offered by the GSA.

CHARTER

Cargo Essence Services can arrange special charter operations to assist client's uplift of  large capacity shippments, pharmaceutical and medical equipment, oversized goods and high value commodities that require inmediate air transportation.

We analyze route, payload and timescale in order to propose the most suitable aircraft for your requirements. We offer part-charters, backloads and other commercially innovative solutions for ad hoc, peak season and project cargo.

We can provide pre-flight advice on packaging requirements, customs and warehousing, and supervise aircraft loading and unloading. We can also coordinate arrangements for specialized equipment, including cranes and custom-built loading structures.
